Frequently Asked Questions – From First Contact to Delivery
How does the process start?
Every project begins with an initial conversation to understand the client’s requirements.
Mabily evaluates the intended use, capacity, materials, and technical conditions, and then defines the most appropriate solution.
Once all details are aligned, an official quotation is prepared with complete commercial and logistical information.
How are products defined or customized?
Each product is technically dimensioned according to its specific application.
Mabily can supply standard configurations or customized designs based on client specifications,
ensuring that every solution meets operational and safety standards.
What does the quotation include?
The quotation includes all relevant information such as product scope, commercial terms,
Incoterms, packaging, warranty, and logistics conditions.
Each quotation is unique and valid only for the parameters described within it.
What happens after receiving the quotation?
The client reviews the quotation and may request clarifications or adjustments.
Once approved in writing, the order is confirmed, and production begins in accordance with the agreed technical and commercial terms.
How is production and quality control handled?
All manufacturing follows strict quality procedures and the technical parameters approved in the quotation.
Visual inspections, dimensional checks, and performance testing are performed when required before packaging and shipment.
How is shipping organized?
Shipping is planned individually according to the product’s size, weight, and destination.
Air, sea, or multimodal transport may be used depending on technical and logistical feasibility.
Freight, insurance, and delivery responsibilities are always defined in the quotation.
How are import taxes and customs handled?
Import procedures and tax responsibilities depend on the destination country and Incoterm defined in the quotation.
For certain destinations, Mabily can operate under a DPL model (Delivered with Paid Local Duties),
where local taxes and documentation are handled in advance and the client receives the goods without additional customs processing.
For clients located in Brazil: there are two possible arrangements.
The client may purchase directly from Mabily LLC, in which case import taxes and customs clearance are the buyer’s responsibility;
or purchase through Mabily Equipamentos Industriais Ltda, which issues a domestic invoice and handles all local import procedures.
Both options are evaluated individually and clearly stated in the quotation.
What documentation accompanies each shipment?
Each shipment includes a commercial invoice, packing list, and applicable certificates of origin or conformity.
All documentation complies with international trade standards and is adapted to the specific requirements of the destination country.
What warranty applies to Mabily products?
Warranty terms are described in the quotation and cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.
All warranty claims must follow the conditions and procedures stated in the quotation and technical documentation.
Does Mabily provide after-sales support?
Yes. Mabily provides ongoing technical support, spare-part guidance, and documentation assistance after delivery.
Our team remains available to ensure reliability and long-term performance of all supplied equipment.
